For years I have wanted to write but had no idea what story to tell. Inspiration struck January 1, 2019 and I put pen to paper (actually fingers to keyboard). Very soon, however, I discovered my story was not ready to be told.
In March I had a new idea: write a blog! I have enjoyed preparing for and teaching at many women’s retreats and seminars over the past 20 years, so a blog seemed to be the perfect blend of writing and teaching.
In John 10:10 Jesus says, “I came to bring them life, and far more life than before” (PHILLIPS). This verse has always resonated with me, so I knew it had to be the guiding verse for my blog. And this translation offered such a rich phrase: far more life. I want to inspire women to discover far more life — fullness, abundance, satisfaction — by pointing them toward a personal relationship with Jesus and encouraging them to consistently live in the power of His Spirit. My prayer is that once they experience that connection, their passion to discover and embrace life as God intended it will be sparked! I love walking beside people as they become the unique person God created them to be and experience the fulfillment He desires for them. I love watching them find far more life!
Writing each post challenges me to dig deeper into God’s Word and let His truth transform my thoughts and actions. My prayer is that each post will help you find and embrace far more life, too.
